Datacentre Leader / Manager SAN, VMware, Networking

We are actively seeking a very strategic and customer facing Technical Director / Practice Lead to work in our thriving Datacenter and Storage practice looking after VMWare, Solutions Architects, IBM, HP etc. This role is to act as Leader to the Datacentre, and Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following experience within the Data centre arena: Integration work - consolidation, application ready infrastructures, The governance of architecture - strategic input and customer engagement, Virtualisation, Unix, and Database platforms. We are looking for someone with strong industry knowledge - Datacentre, Storage / SAN, Virtualisation, with strong man management skills and experience leading large teams. The successful candidate will have the ability to grow business - very senior level engagements, with the ability to influence, define strategy, and provide strategic thought leadership gained from an IT outsourcer. You should have strong technical / architectural background (note this role is not hands on technical or delivery). This is a very customer facing, and you will be responsible for press releases, interviews etc, and senior customer engagements, and championing that area so you will have a strong technical appreciation of the technologies with ideas for growth / defining strategy.
